HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR VIDEO ENTRY
1: Test your soundtrack out on YouTube.
  • Before submitting your entry to Wakakirri, you are required to test your video by uploading it to YouTube to ensure there are no copyright complications with the soundtrack.

  • We suggest you upload a test at the beginning of creating your entry so as not to run into complications towards the end.

  • Once you have your song selection, create a dummy video (a blank screen will suffice so long as the audio is made up of your song selection).  Save as a movie and upload to YouTube for a copyright check.  Click here to download a step-by-step guide.

2: Film your student representatives
  • Arrange for 2 students to answer the following 2 questions - added to the end of your Story-Dance Video.

  • Limit each answer to maximum 40 seconds.

    • Q1 What is the message of your story-dance?

    • Q2 What initiatives has your school taken to create your performance? (For example any school projects, community building or engagement,  fundraising efforts, or other behind-the-scenes activities).

4: Submit the school portal.

5: Make payment of the entry fee
  • An invoice will be emailed to you within a day of submitting your school portal.

6: Upload your video to the Wakakirri Dropbox
  • You will receive an email with a link to upload your video once payment of the Entry Fee has been received.

  • Ensure the file name is saved with the following naming convention ”School Name_Item Title”.
