THE INSPIRATION FUND

The Wakakirri Inspiration Fund raises funds to help schools in disadvantaged communities to participate in Wakakirri. Any school can apply for funds to be spent on subsidising student participation fees for Wakakirri Live.  ​While the Wakakirri Inspiration Fund is designed to support schools in disadvantaged communities, we encourage schools to contribute to their own participation.​​​

Selection Criteria:

  • Must be a Primary School or Secondary School.

  • Must be registered for Wakakirri Live the current year.

  • Schools with an ICSEA of less than 1000 are prioritised.

  • Schools that have never participated in Wakakirri before are prioritised.​

Applications close: 13th March 2026

Results announced:  20th March 2026

​Wakakirri acknowledges the traditional custodians and elders past present and future of the lands on which we work and live.
