For the past 12 months Wakakirri has been SEARCHING FOR THE BEST STORY created by an Australian Primary School. With more than 200 schools, 14,000 students performing in live venues across the nation, the search has been on! The National Panel have viewed and deliberated and it has come down to just 15 schools….who will be crowned Story of the Year?

Who likes celebrities? Wakakirri TV likes celebrities!

In this weeks episode,  Wakakirri TV hosts Nathan and Demi-Rose catch up with playschool actor Andrew McFarlane and musical theatre performer Wayne Kermond, AND Wakakirri TV will also be  interviewing the one and only Jason Coleman.

Not to mention Mr Rogers will be bringing you the results from WA, VIC and QLD Grand Finals on The Search, the Wakakirri raffle is being drawn by our celebrities Andrew and Wayne,  Cakes and Commentary will review items from Sunnybank Hills Primary School, Valkstone Primary School  and Yarraville West Primary School and we’ll head backstage to the  QLD Grand Finals. PLUS don’t forget to watch the performance montage at the end of the show, you might just spot yourself!

Remember Wakakirri TV will be on a break until the 18th of October, don’t forget to tune in as rumour has it the last three episode are due to be BIGGER THAN EVER!

The search is on, and narrowing by the second!  Which school will take home story of the year?

In episode 8, Wakakirri TV hosts Nathan and Demi-Rose update us on everything Wakakirri!  Cakes and Commentary will  review Story Dance Items from Thornleigh West PS and Clarke Street S.S (NSW), Randwick Public School (NSW) and Fitzgerald State School in Mackay (QLD).
