We are always looking to provide teachers with the tools needed in order to put together a magical Wakakirri entry and the following resources have been compiled by a range of educational insiders who have been involved in their own Wakakirri creation or have experience in some capacity within the Australian education system.

This set of teacher resources provides multiple ideas for lesson plans and how to soundly and holisiticly integrate all aspects of the Wakakirri Festival into your time in the classroom. The introduction involves looking at the various aspects of Wakakirri for example the idea of making a positive impact. Following this, all aspects of a specific Story-Writing piece are analysed.

This guide provides you with helpful definitions and a case study. It also explains how to incorporate ‘story’ into your performance. This aspect of a performance is often omitted or misunderstood so this document is mandatory for everyone taking part in the festival.
