About Wakakirri High

Set, Mark, Action!

The Wakakirri High program invites secondary students to use their creative and technical skills to create powerful short films. Students can use any genre and style, including live action, documentary, animation or claymation.

Film is an extremely accessible tool to express, explore and share ideas, thoughts and stories. The films are uploaded to the Wakakirri website and watched by schools all around Australia and beyond.

Films can be up to 5 minutes in length and may incorporate the 2012 signature item, which is TWELVE. Films need to be uploaded to the Wakakirri website by the 3rd of August, 2012.
