Welcome to Wakakirri High

The Wakakirri High program aims to empower teachers and students with the creative and technical skills to create powerful digital stories, but also the opportunity to share those films to a large and receptive audience.

Secondary Schools are being given the opportunity to share their way of living through a series of exciting film festivals in each state and territory of Australia. Make a film, enter it in the Wakakirri High festival and come along to walk the red carpet at your very own film premiere. Plus there’s the chance to have your film screened on national television.
