Each year in December at the conclusion of the Wakakirri Year, highlights from the year that was are showcased during our national TV Special aired on Network TEN. During the action packed two hours, you'll see the state winning nominees from each category and the program will culminate in our announcement of the 2008 National Winners. You'll be treated to the best films, dances, songs and more, plus we have great backstage footage from all our live shows.

We also announce the two biggest Wakakirri awards out there - the Wakakirri Prize For Sustainability & the Wakakirri Prize For Cultural Diversity. Any school out of the hundreds that enter Wakakirri will be eligible for these prizes, but only two will win.
