The original Wakakirri event and still the most popular.
Tell a story live on stage in 3 - 7 minutes using a blend of movement and acting to pre recorded music. Can include live singing. Min 20 students. Max 80 secondary, 130 Primary

Story Singing $1000 First prize
Sing an original song live on stage to a backing track or a band.
5 minute limit. Perform in a group (maximum 30 students) or solo.

Story Telling $1000 First prize
Tell an original story live on stage in any style you wish (radio play, monologue, etc ) Use a combination of vocals and dramatics.
Perform in a group (maximum 30 students) or solo.

Story Writing $1000 First prize
Write an original story. (500 max words primary) (1000 max words secondary) or less. Works due June 13

Story Arts $1000 First prize
Create 10 images to tell a story and put them in an electronic slideshow. Use photos or drawings. Works due June 13

Story Film $1000 First prize
Create a 5 minute short film in any genre (animation, documentary,
music clip, etc). Works due June 13
