What is Wakakirri?

Wakakirri is a National Story Festival that challenges young Australians to create a story, share it with Australia and have a positive impact on the world around them.

Wakakirri is the largest multi arts event for schools in Australia. Established in 1992 Wakakirri has built its reputation on being accessible and affordable to every school in Australia with an emphasis on creativity and participation - not big budgets
