This story explores from a child’s perspective, European settlement extending over a century. We meet Indigenous and European people whose lifestyles collide. The story takes you on a journey to discover how issues arise as the white people begin developing the land, while indigenous people attempt to preserve the land. Can one special tree and its ring of seeds save the land from pollution and resolve conflicting cultures? The judges felt this film explored its topic material well, with great use of claymation.
