Wakakirri is held across Australia and Story-Dance, Story-Telling & Story-Singing entries can be entered by either competing live at any of the venues listed on this page. N.B schools unable to attend these venues due to distance can elect to film and send their entries into us.

PLEASE NOTE: SECONDARY SCHOOLS ARE NOT CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE TO ENTER WAKAKIRRI. Please call us on 1800 650 979

• City Wakakirri may involve a ‘Heats’ series with an invitational competition series of ‘Grand Finals’, depending on numbers.
Regional QLD and TAS shows have a series of 'one-off' Finals.
The shows incorporate live Story-Dance, Story-Telling and Story-Singing performances. Please note that only a limited number of Story-Telling and
Story-Singing performances will be accepted for each venue.
