National Story Week

Every year Wakakirri concludes its festival with National Story Week. National Story Week sees every school in Australia receiving a DVD of the year's best stories from all the Wakakirri programs. Accompanied by teaching notes, the DVD allows schools to watch, discuss and value different schools works from around Australia.

National Story Week 2010 will take place on the week beginning Monday 8th November. An official event and ceremony will take place in Sydney, with teachers, students, sponsors and special guests invited. Wakakirri will announce the 2010 National Winners and launch the very exciting 2009/10 Wakakirri Story Anthology (previously the Biggest Book of Short Stories).
